Elephant Hill Hike ~ A Must for the Outdoor Enthusiasts!

On an early Saturday morning, we made our way to the amazing Elephant Hill situated along the Aberdare National Park. We drove towards Kinangop area, and after a long two hour drive, our destination drew closer as we went past Njabini centre and towards the Park entrance.

Elephant hill hike is one of the most challenging hikes I have done recently. Some would say that the challenge prepares you well for the climb in Mount Kenya. In the end, it was a totally worthy experience.We started off at 10.00am, which according to our guide (Paul) was a little bit late considering we were to go as high as 12,000ft in 4 hours. We were so energetic at the start. Through the beautiful forest scenery, we walked as we took in the very fresh air sweetened by the wild berries.
